We have been dog and cat owners since 2003 and setter owners since 2007. Gordons came first, followed closely by Irish – we currently have seven Setters: four Gordon and three Irish, ranging from a few months to 11 years and six cats. They all live in our house, are all mad as a box of frogs and shower us daily with their affection, muddy paws, guilty-look-eyes and demands to be let in and out of the house (the fact we have a cat flap for the felines falls on deaf ears).
We have had two litters of Gordons now, the first in the summer of 2020, and the second two years later in 2022, and our first Irish litter was born in December 2021.
We love being setter owners and as breeders (albeit new ones) we also love being in the privileged position of helping others becoming as hooked and in love with them as we are. We don’t show, our breeding is based on looks and temperament with our main aim being to produce happy, healthy, well-balanced dogs that become much loved family members.
