As with Sorrel and Coriander (see yesterday), Tarragon also eats on his own as he has to have a feed that has the correct calcium/ phosphorus balance in order that he doesn’t get calcia urinary stones (something whethered goats and sheep can suffer from.).
He is amazingly good at coming to his name and going into the old barn where he finds his feed. He is NOT however quite so good at then patiently waiting to be let back out. He bleats and sticks his head out of the window and pretty much doesn’t let up till I open up for him!!
