Pepper, our oldest kitten, now seven and a half months old, is thoroughly enjoying the outdoor life. We have been letting her stay out longer and longer and getting to the stage where we trust her enough to come and go as she pleases. She has recently been coming down to the poultry area a lot more, hopefully learning they are all off limits or if not, been stared at long (enough as in the photo) to start to get the message. It is an absolute joy to watch her explore and play. Chili and Salt go out too but we are still restricting them a bit more as they are younger and in Salt's case, with her deafness, a lot more vulnerable. Salt fortunately isn't showing as much interest on being out and she also seems to need to sleep more. She has two favourite places: one on Jack's desk and the other behind all the smallholding books on the bookshelf. We know when she has spent the night there cos in the mornings, half the books are on the floor...
