We check the cows, sheep and alpacas twice daily, we often have the dogs with us as they are trustworthy enough to be in the same field (supervised). We can also be found sometimes peering at them through our binoculars from the house. The grass however is getting very long and even a walk round the field to check them can be fun as we search for missing lambs or a ewe apart from the rest and totally hidden in the grass. And then there are the calves, we have literally walked within feet of a calf before now and not seen it!!
And then when we do, we cannot help but take a photo: long grass and calves are pretty irrestible!!!
