Long grass!!
June has been very wet indeed as we have mentioned in previous entries but we are now in a period of warn and dry and it looks set for a fair while. The grass is still pretty nutritional though thanks to the rain we have had but is now getting very long and the sheep and alpacas are starting to disappear in it in.
Relaxed at Home
This could not be more different to last year where by this time the dry weather was so severe, the grass had stopped growing and we were in danger of needing to feed hay to the animals – something that became a reality in July!!
So, we are loving the weather but still want to see the odd day of rain forecast too.
