A slight mucosy behind was spotted mid morning and within the hour, Thyme had popped out this very cute female calf. Like her half brother before her, she wasted no time in getting her mouth around some rather engorged teats. We have named her Peppermint which will perfectly ensure we now get her and her half sister Spearmint, mixed up all the time!! At the end of the day we were treated to a mad calf dash as the two youngsters used the area round the field shelter as a racetrack and the mums tied themselves in knots trying to keep up: priceless!!
