June is proving very wet so far and at times way colder than is usual and there are parts of the smallholding that don’t look as good as they should because of the weather… but of course as with most things to do with weather and farming, there is an upside to everything and so when it comes to the rain, ducks really are in seventh heaven as new puddles appear and old puddles get deeper and wider… And even though you know they are making a horrid muddy mess, it’s hard not to smile at the sight and sound of dabbling Muscovies.
