Brave new world
With some trepidation, we let Banana leave the confines of the barn and start to go outside today: at almost two weeks old, her ducklings will hopefully be strong enough and big enough to evade the corvids.. (fingers, toes and and more besides all crossed…). They are a similar age to Apple's lot when they first went out and all 15 of those are still going strong.
Relaxed at Home
As well as having Banana's six back safe and sound at the end of the day (phew!!), we also rather enjoyed the sight of Grape coming over to meet his latest children, although looking at these, it seems highly likely from the colouring, that Orange has fathered most, if not all of them (sorry Grape...).
