Spent a very happy quarter of an hour watching Queenie Blue and her chicks having a jolly good dust-bathe and then a sunbathe and a snooze this pm. As well as being fabulously communal and sociable activities, these actions also help the birds to rid themselves of creepy crawlies that might otherwise irritate then or even make them poorly. It's wonderful to know the birds feel safe enough in their environment to do this.
