Both Parsey and Onion are due today – neither is showing any signs of being about to pop….If we had to place a bet, we would guess that Onion will get there first but that is based on nothing really, other than having to pick one.
Parsley is in good health and fingers crossed for an uncomplicated birth!!! Spearmint (Thyme’s calf from last year) is still quite small and we are wondering whether she will be ready to AI this summer – we cannot think so at the moment. The question then is what do we do with her??? She is a poppet and if we keep her tll next year then we end up taking five though the winter. Hmmm. Decisions for another day perhaps.
