Our broody troubles continue: we lost both the remaining ducklings, the one we thought was too far gone was indeed but the other also died despite us bringing it inside and putting under our artificial broody hen!
We have had another gosling hatch though, from a batch of 9 eggs, 6 of which proved fertile and grew. They are under a broody chicken so fingers crossed for the rest! We haven’t as yet set any chicken eggs though but may well do so sooner rather than later in order to hopefully get our incubation plans back on track and feel as though we are having some success!!
