Whilst lambing is less than two weeks away, the cows aren't due to calve for another one and a half/ two months. Their gestation period is nine months, sheep are pregnant for just five so in actual fact, the cows are approaching the same 'final countdown' with growing udders and in Thyme's case in particular, very large bellies. This doesn't stop them legging it from one end of the field to the other though when they think it's feed time!!
