The geese adore their ponds. Evert morning we fill all three ponds with clean water and as soon as one is ready, a goose steps in. We’d love to have a much bigger area of water for them but these paddling pools do at least give them the chance of an all over body wash. The minimum you should give waterfowl is enough water for them to dip their head and neck. We have never been happy with just that and feel OUR minimum should be enough water for the bird to sit in and have a full wash.
In addition most geese and ducks are happiest mating on water so our pools give them a chance for that to happen too.
