These two beauties are joined at the hip: this is Orange and one of last year’s home-bred ducks. They are not related although of course we do still have her mum, and crucially her dad still too, but as she pretty much never leaves Orange's side, we are hopeful that any eggs she laid, will just be fertilized by him. We usually sell any ducks that we breed each year in order that we don’t get any in-breeding but we are going to make an exception to this one: it would be cruel to split these two up now.
