We do believe we have five very happy cows. They positively danced for joy when they came into the new barn this afternoon: we had leaping and bucking and chasing and general merriment!! It was fabulous to watch. And then after their mad half hour, they ate a load of hay and then lay down to quietly enjoy a bit of a snooze and a chew or two of the cud!! Let’s hope they carry on being happy here and that the mucking out is light and easy - (well, something along those lines..)
