It’s been over a month since we lost Yeti and after some initial wonderings and restlessness, the remaining five dogs have become a very settled and cohesive group. They are in fact our most bonded group ever with all of them getting on with all the rest. We do have the odd spat or two but we have a lot more sofa sharing than we used to and when we go out, the playing together is just crazy. Dragonfly in particular is very puppy like and a huge fan of leading the 'chase'. She was in slight awe of Yeti and it is actually lovely to see her more carefree and sociable. We still miss Yeti and now the rats are moving back into our barn and stables, we are reminded what a fab job she did of dispatching them for us!! Time to have words with the cats!!
