Poorly goat!!
Sorrel seemed a tad subdued last night and this morning her breathing was very noisy and unusually for her, she was slightly off her food. By the afternoon her breathing sounded very akin to a serial snorer!! Although coughing is more indicative, we did wonder whether her symptoms suggested lungworm. We rang the vets who agreed and having advised us to worm her, also asked for a FEC to check for signs in her poo!!
Relaxed at Home
And here's the thing: Sorrel’s poo, for months a concern due to its sloppy, copious quantities, is now perfect. We have round pellets exactly as they should be. We are astounded because whilst she is currently 'intestinal' worm-free, she was been worm-free before and yet still sloppy. Equally her diet (grass nuts, alfalfa and sugar beet) is one she has been on before!! So, perfect poo but now a very sore throat – she is obviously determined to have at least one thing wrong with her.
