Even though we know that Muscovy ducks perch (being descended from tree ducks), we still find it an engaging site to see them in such positions as this!! They are entirely comfortable perching and very much enjoy being high.
It does give them very sharp claws mind you which makes wearing gloves somewhat of a good idea when handling them - not that Jack ever does....
