With a heartfelt apology, today we separated Mr Brown from the ewes and put him in with the Collecting Area (with just a fence between them)!!! He of course has no idea why whereas we are quite clear that if any of our ewes start to cycle we definitley don't want them beiung covered - not yet!! Our plans are to lamb in April/May and as such we don't want any mating to occur until November.
Luckily for Mr Brown though he has a second set of wives aagin this year and is due to visit them in the second week of October. His 'isolation' therefore won't be that long!!!
