Thyme bulling - at last
Hooray, Thyme seriously began bulling today, to such an extent that even when she was in the crush waiting to be AI-ed, Sage our steer was still trying to get at her.
Relaxed at Home
We now have an anxious wait until we can get them scanned to see if they are in calf, We will of course be keeping a very careful eye to see if any of the three of them 'return' in which case we will know straight away they have not taken.
Scanning is best done at least 6 weeks after the last AI date so we need to book this in. We also need to get our annual TB testing done by November. AND to maximize the TB 60-day window, we will also have to decide who, if anyone we might sell, in addition of course to Sage the steer going off to the abbatoir, which we are very much NOT looking forward to.
