Smallholding wildlife: we often miss it, focused as we are on the ‘domestic’ livestock! This spider was hard to miss though with her rather large supper in the form of a white butterfly. It was dead thankfully when we spotted it, otherwise we might have felt compelled to rescue it, thus depriving the spider of her well deserved feed and breaking her web in the process!! We took a few pictures and left her to it!!
