'Spotty' and ‘Not quite so Spotty'
Here we have Spotty and ‘Not quite so Spotty’ two very good looking Oxford Sandy and Black pigs from Jacqui Pateman-Jones, our friend just down the road from us!!
Relaxed at Home
And how glad are we of the clever 'alteration' to our second hand pig arc bought two years ago that means we can take a portion of the back off - in this weather that 'through draft' is going to be a life saver!!
These two are about nine/ten weeks old and the plan is for us to take them to meat weight, approximately 6/7 months old, exactly as we did last year with the Gloucester Old spots we had! There is a school of thought that OSB pork is the best there is – we are pretty impressed with the GOS taste so it is going to be interesting to compare!!
