Heavy rain was the order of the day this morning, followed by a stunning sunset. We walked the bottom 3-acre this evening – this is where the cows need to be turned out into – and there was not a single place we found where we weren’t squidging though soggy ground. There will come the day when the cows need to go out no matter what because when the sheep come into the top 3-acre for lambing, that means the goats need access to the barn again in order for the sheep to have their double field shelter. And we start lambing in just over two weeks!!!
There is no sign of any let up in the rain either!!!!
