'Minions mist'
This is the 4-acre field after over 24 hours of pretty much solid rain. This is what we now refer to as ‘Minions’ weather (Minions being our last home on the edge of Bodmin Moor): misty, damp and not terribly inviting!!
Relaxed at Home
The alpacas and sheep are quite unconcerned by it all though. They have been using the field shelters occasionally, particularly the sheep, but most of the time they are to be found munching grass or hay. The grass in this field is quite short now and we still have it in our minds that we may put the animals back into the top 3-acre where the grass is much longer. We don’t want them to trash it though as the 3-acre is our spring grazing field and may not then have much time to recover. We will see how the weather goes over the next few days and decide.
