This is Caraway, looking pretty enigmatic it has to be said. She is growing apace now and is not that much shorter than her mum. It’s great to think we will keep her through to her own first calf (hopefully) and just hope we do manage to part with her when the time comes. It will take a very special owner for us to sell to for certain. We are due rain this weekend and so we will keep a very close eye on the land and the start of any poaching. We don’t want to have to put the cows back in their Pad but neither do we want a trashed field that doesn’t recover for the spring!!! There is going to be some fairly intense weather watching going on!!
