Waiting!!
A lovely shot (aside from a headless Onion) of all five of our goats… Onion had her head in the feed bucket and the others came to investigate (having finished their own.)
Relaxed at Home
Rachel's’ summary of Sorrel on her visit today, was that she does need feeding up and that we need to do the blood tests to rule out anything nasty like Johnes and CAE!! She also recommended Alfalfa pellets as an additional food as the protein levels are high and that is what she needs more of, rather than the sugars and starches of the goat mix. We have already noticed a difference in Sorrel since we began feeding her more grass nuts and less goat mix: her poo is better and she is perhaps not quite as skinny as she was.
We now have a week to await the results of her tests!!!
