Decisions made
We (Jack) have been very indecisive about how to move forward with our goat plans. We mentioned back on 2nd that eating goat meat is not now high on our agenda and as such, keeping Boer goats per se is not necessarily something to do BUT, as with any animal that is ON our smallholding, deciding to move if OFF, for whatever reason, is actually quite a big deal.
Relaxed at Home
It was always the plan to sell the kids, and then we thought we might sell Garlic and just ONE kid and to that extent we have had an advert posted in a few places online which was just sitting there in cyberspace.. Well today, we were contacted by a chap who wants to set up a small Boer Goat herd for meat and he expressed an interest in buying Garlic and BOTH kids. He is set to come and view on Sunday and so we have till then to definitely decide this is what we want to do!!!
The photo is of Onion, wondering if she is going to get fed any time soon. And why Garlic, not Onion? As is often the case with us, it's all about which animals we have bonded with the best!! And Onion, and Shale are definitely both bonded with us!!!
